Big Foot Beach State Park

Big Foot Beach offers a variety of recreational opportunities, including 100 campsites (34 with electricity, five miles of hiking and biking trails, picnic areas, fishing and play equipment, not to mention the swimming beach on Geneva Lake. There are 40 acres of picnic area with about 150 tables and a limited number of charcoal grills. Playground equipment and volleyball courts are available. Pets are not allowed in the general picnic areas Personal watercraft and motorboats are available for rent from a local vendor just south of the park entrance. These boats are for use on Geneva Lake only. In the winter, enjoy snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

Scarecrow Fest is a Delavan Tradition.  Downtown Delavan will host the 21st Annual Scarecrow Fest on Saturday, Sept 18, 10 am  to 4 pm. The Festival includes music, flea market and craft show, animal petting zoo, duck raffle, build-a-scarecrow event, food, face painting, pumpkin decorating, sales, photo-ops, car show and of course Scarecrows! End the day at the Bandshell with a concert and laser show at 7 pm. Like Delavan’s Downtown Business Association and the Delavan Historic Foundation on Facebook.
